Rose Consultant guides you through a structured conversation to scope your optimization project, then automatically generates project briefs as you go.
Getting started
When you open a Rose Consultant project, you'll see a menu on the left listing each step of the scoping process. You can click any step in this menu to jump directly to it. You are not required to move through the steps strictly in order, so you can revisit or get ahead on a section whenever you like.
Answering questions
Each step presents a set of questions about your project. For example, your goals, constraints, and the data you have available. You can add as much detail as you want, and you can always come back and add more later, even after a step is marked complete.
Your briefs update automatically
Every time you complete a step, Rose Consultant creates or updates two documents based on everything you've shared so far:
- Executive Brief
A high-level summary of your project, written for stakeholders and decision-makers - Technical Brief
A more detailed writeup intended for implementation and data teams
You don't need to request these updates. They happen automatically as you move through the interview.
Viewing your briefs
Buttons in the lower right of the screen let you preview the executive and technical briefs at any time, so you can check your progress without finishing the whole interview first. While previewing either brief, you'll find a Download to Microsoft Word button, which lets you save a copy of that brief as a .docx file.
What happens next
As you complete more steps, both briefs continue to be refined and expanded. Once your interview is complete, your finished briefs are ready to share internally or use to kick off a solver engagement.
