Welcome to SimpleRose and the Rose solver!
There are two ways you can submit optimization problem to Rose.
Method 1: Using the Python rosepy library with Pyomo
If you build your models using Python and Pyomo, you can use the rosepy Python library to automatically submit and solve your models with Rose—directly from your Python code. See our rosepy setup guide for installation and configuration steps.
All problems submitted via rosepy will also appear in your dashboard at rose.simplerose.com, where you can view solve history and download past results.
Method 2: Submitting problems through your browser
You can also upload your optimization problems directly through your dashboard at rose.simplerose.com. We currently support .mps and .lp files formats—most modeling tools can export to one of these formats. If you want some sample .mps files to get you started, check out our Bubbles Brewery or Slick Oil examples.
